Every driver submits ID and vehicle documents before their first trip goes live, and reviews are handled by our trust & safety team — not automated approval.

Late cancellations cost the cancelling side a fee after two free passes a month — so drivers have a real incentive not to bail on a confirmed booking.

During the beta it's cash: you see the exact fare before you book and hand that amount to your driver on the trip. dropCab takes no commission and adds no booking fee, so the driver keeps all of it. Card and mobile money will be switched on city by city after the beta, and the app always tells you which applies before you book.
